Rare Seven runs the game in your browser. We do not have player accounts, a database of submitted answers, or a public leaderboard.
On-device storage
Browser local storage can hold your best completed score, the previous round’s question IDs, saving preference, and analytics choice. An activity marker in session storage lets us tell you that a refreshed round has ended. We do not persist unfinished answer text.
| Storage key | Purpose |
|---|---|
rs:v1:best-choice | Multiple choice best score and completion date for the current rules |
rs:v1:best-input | Separate Recall challenge best score and completion date |
rs:v1:previous-round | Avoid immediately repeating the previous seven questions |
rs:v1:preferences | Remember-on-device preference |
rs:v1:consent | Optional analytics choice, renewed after 180 days |
rs:v1:active | Session-only round marker |
Game records remain until replaced, cleared, or invalidated by a version change. Legacy input scores under rs:v1:best are not compared with the new rules and can be removed with Clear on-device records. Turn off saving or clear records using On-device records on the game page. If storage is unavailable, you can still play using temporary memory.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 only after you accept optional analytics. Before acceptance or after rejection, we do not initialize its script or send measurements.
Measurements can include the page path, round starts and completions, total score, accepted-answer counts, replay, and successful sharing method. They do not include your submitted answers, email, or private URL query values. Google may receive network and device information and set analytics cookies when enabled.
Use Privacy choices below to reject or withdraw. Withdrawal stops future measurements and attempts to clear accessible analytics cookies, then reloads the page. It cannot retrieve already sent data. See Google’s privacy policy.
Advertising
Advertising is currently disabled. No AdSense scripts or advertising cookies are loaded. Any later advertising integration will update this notice and provide the consent flow required for the service and visitor’s region.
Hosting and contact
Rare Seven is hosted on Cloudflare Workers with Static Assets. Hosting providers process network requests and may retain operational logs under their policies. Cloudflare’s privacy policy describes its processing.
If you email a question report, the receiving mailbox processes your message. Include only the information needed to explain the issue; do not send passwords or other sensitive personal data. See contact information.
